Two recognitions arriving at the same time rarely happen by accident. Prof. Kramer's work on soft and stretchable robotics sits at a genuinely productive intersection of materials science and mechanical engineering, and when research reads as significant both inside and outside academia simultaneously, it usually means the underlying ideas are doing something real. Well deserved on both counts. - kayaraya login
